New Suffolk stockists

Two pubs, a cinema, a shop and gallery, and a distillery!

We are delighted to announce that we have several new Suffolk-based stockists selling our award-winning beer. All of our beers are handcrafted in small batches using traditional German brewing techniques from our brewery in Leiston, Suffolk. We follow the German purity law meaning that the only ingredients we use are malted grains, hops, yeast and water.

The Theberton Lion Inn is the first pub to sell our award-winning Altbier Hoppediz from tap. The Theberton Lion is a privately run freehouse with an emphasis on quality, independence, authenticity and choice. It also boasts comfortable visitor accommodation for those outside of Suffolk. An interesting fact about Theberton: back in 1917, a German zeppelin crashed into a field close to the village. Some of the Germans survived and were allegedly invited for tea by the villagers. Some parts of the zeppelin are saved in the steam museum in Leiston.

Krafty bottles are now stocked at the Heart of Suffolk Distillery gin shop in Bacton. The family-run distillery lovingly pot distil small batches of a London Dry style gin with nine carefully chosen hand-crushed botanicals to create the modern, unique and refreshing taste. Each batch of around 65 bottles is hand signed and numbered by master distiller Martyn who believes that when he signs each bottle, he puts a piece of himself into each bottle.

Our Blondie lager is now served on tap at The Low House Laxfield, also known as The King's Head. This fine old 16th century thatched pub has no bar but serves beer straight from casks and kegs in the Tap Room. The Low House has accommodation as well two campsites within walking distance for thirsty visitors based outside of Suffolk.

The Leiston Film Theatre is also now stocking bottles of Krafty’s award-winning Hoppediz and Schwarz&Weiss. The Edwardian picture house opened in October 1914 and has traded continuously for 107 years. You can now enjoy a film in their 300-seat auditorium accompanied by a cold and delicious locally brewed Krafty.

Art gallery and coffee shop Vela Partners in Saxmundham provides a gemütliche (cosy) atmosphere to enjoy art, a selection of German food, and now Krafty beers! The welcoming contemporary space also has a shop offering a range of beautiful objects inspired by Nordic and German design.

For those of you not able to get to the stockists mentioned above, don’t forget you can order all your favourite bottles directly from our website.
